Event Summary: Host: Harvard Pakistan Student Group (HPSG) Speaker: Mustafa Kamal, District City Nazim (Mayor), Karachi, Pakistan Topic of discussion: The potential of US development assistance to Pakistan vis-a-vis urban megalopolis projects. Date: Mon, Nov 6th Time: 101m-12pm Room Requested: Leverett JCR Expected attendance: ~50 students The Harvard Pakistan Student Group, is a cross Harvard group including Undergrads as well as Graduate students, formed with an aim to create awareness about issues relating to Pakistan and encourage leadership within Harvard. In this light, our upcoming event plans to call the Mayor of Karachi, the largest city in Pakistan, to talk about the development that he has seen in his years in office and how U.S. aid in particular has been used. The group is open to Pakistani's as well as non-Pakistani's; hence, anyone is welcome to this event. Light refreshments will probably be served.
