Welcome to Wellness at Leverett!

As your Wellness Tutors, we are here to help you feel great, live a balanced life, and address any wellness-related concerns and questions you may have. We work closely with UHS and Leverites from wellness-oriented student groups to bring you things like healthy study breaks, Leverett Yoga, meditation trainings, and various other wellness events throughout the year. Please scroll down the page for more information about Wellness events and resources at Leverett.

Most importantly, we are here for you. Please reach out to us anytime with any questions, concerns, suggestions, or just to chat. We look forward to helping you live well!

Lev Wellness Resources

Leverett Yoga: During the fall and spring semester, we offer weekly yoga classes in the Leverett Old Library. Class dates and times will be listed on the Leverett Calendar and advertised by e-mail and posters throughout the House. No prior yoga experience is required and all levels are welcome. If you have a yoga mat or towel, please bring it with you!

Lev Gym: Our in-house gym is ID card accessible and open 24/7. The gym is located on the ground floor of G-Tower. For more information, please see Fitness Center.

Meditation Workshops: During the fall and spring semester, we typically offer meditation workshops either individually or as a multi-week session. Dates and times will be listed on the Leverett Calendar and advertised by e-mail and posters throughout the House. Stay tuned!

Meditation Room: The Leverett Meditation Room is located in the Library/Building Manager's Building, just up the stairs (across from the Building Manager's office). The Meditation Room is open 24/7 and is a calm, electronics-free space for meditation, yoga, or simple quiet reflection.

Free Condoms: The Lev free condom distribution box is located in the Library/Building Manager's Building, just down the stairs from the front door (on your left). The box is stocked once or twice a month during the academic year. Please help yourself to as many condoms as you need, but be courteous and leave some for others to enjoy as well!

Wellness Study Breaks: Your Wellness Tutors organize a number of Wellness study breaks throughout the year, including chair massage study breaks during every reading period. Study breaks will be listed on the Leverett Calendar and advertised by e-mail and posters throughout the House. Please let us know if you have any suggestions for study break themes!
