Aaron Watanabe
My name is Aaron Watanabe. I first arrived at Harvard in 2010 as a freshman and have been here since then, except two years I spent at Oxford getting a master's degree in Latin American studies. As both an undergrad and now PhD student, my homes at Harvard have been Leverett House and the Gov Department, where I am currently writing a dissertation on why populists win elections. My main pastimes these days are hanging out in the dining hall and throwing study breaks. When those aren't possible, I enjoy running, traveling, and learning languages–I pretend to speak Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian and am always looking for opportunities to practice!
