My name is Alex Miller, and I am a PhD candidate in the Health Science Technology program at Harvard/MIT. My research focuses on the design of small devices to better understand how cancer spreads through the body. I grew up in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Harvard in 2015 (Adams House) with an SB in biomedical engineering. Between undergrad and grad school, I worked as a research associate in an academic lab, studying the liver-stage of malaria infection. In my free time, I love baking, theater, and singing with my husband, Alex Raun (the other Alex).
