Sociology Concentration Adviser
Nicolette Bardele
Nicolette Bardele is a PhD candidate in sociology at Harvard and the sociology concentration advisor for Leverett House. Her research focuses primarily on the criminal justice system, with a particular interest in community corrections (probation/parole), incarceration, and spatial inequality across rural and urban areas. Nicolette is originally from Milwaukee, WI, and, prior to graduate school, she earned a BA in sociology and statistics at the University of Notre Dame. In her role as concentration advisor, she is always happy to chat with you about what concentrating in sociology entails (and what sociology even is!), course selection, and other opportunities for concentrators, so please feel free to reach out to her! In her spare time, she enjoys collecting cookbooks and trying new recipes from said books, traveling, listening to podcasts, and spending time with family and friends.
