My name is Heather Flaherty. I am a Special Education Teacher at Brooke Mattapan Charter School in Boston. I grew up in Quincy, MA and earned my BA in History, with minors in Spanish and Education, Inquiry and Justice from Georgetown University. I have a Masters in the Art of Teaching in Childhood Education from Relay Graduate School of Education in New York City.  I have served as a Teach for America Corps Member in New York City and a Fulbright Scholar teaching in Barranquilla, Colombia. I love running, yoga, and eating ice cream with my partner Chris Cleveland, a fellow resident tutor. We live with our cat, Kya.
