I am a PhD student in the Department of History where I work on Middle East and Ottoman history. I grew up in Chicago and studied at Princeton for my undergrad and Cambridge in the UK for a masters before starting at Harvard in 2020. Outside of my academic work, I enjoy snowshoeing in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, playing mandolin, pickup basketball and frisbee, and exploring the Boston area by bicycle.
